世界名牌大学—赫尔辛基大学(http://www.helsinki.fi/)是位于北欧芬兰的最高学府。1640年创建于芬兰古都土尔库，原名为土尔库皇家学院(the Royal Academy of Turku)。芬兰当时隶属于瑞典王国，土尔库皇家学院当时是瑞典帝国的重要学术机构之一，1828年迁至赫尔辛基。赫尔辛基大学以其悠久的历史，丰富的藏书，一流的设备，齐备的专业以及杰出的成就，闻名欧洲。赫尔辛基大学的校旗依旧是芬兰国旗，由此可见赫尔辛基大学对芬兰整个国家的意义。
